How many users does Workplace have?
Workplace has 7 million paid users around the globe spanning retail, technology, telecommunications, financial services, media, entertainment, hospitality, food and drink, transport, property, utilities, delivery and government.
Do I have to create a personal Facebook account to use Workplace?
No. You don't need a personal Facebook account to sign up for Workplace. There are separate websites and apps for both.
How much does Workplace cost?

Can employers see employees’ personal Facebook accounts?
No. Employers are not able to access employees’ personal Facebook accounts.
Who owns the information that employees create?
The company owns the information and data which employees create in Workplace. Meta acts as the data processor.
What happens when an employee leaves the organization?
After an employee leaves, the admin will still have access to their Workplace profile.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete or deactivate your account at any time. However, your organization will have continued access to your Workplace profile. For more help, visit our Help Center.

What is the Workplace Core Plan?
The Workplace Core Plan offers you everything you need to connect your organization with features such as Groups, Posts, Live Video and much more. The Core Plan is also great for connecting employees who work remotely, and includes integrations with popular platforms like Office 365 and Google Workspace. The Workplace Core Plan costs USD$4.00 per person, per month.
What does ‘per user, per month’ mean?
On the Workplace Core Plan, you pay for the number of people who have been invited to activate their Workplace profile. You can create an unlimited number of profiles in your Workplace, but they only become billable when a person is invited to activate their profile.
What are Workplace ‘add-ons’?
You can start with the Core Plan and then customize your Workplace experience with optional add-ons. Workplace offers two add-ons, which include the Enhanced Admin and Support Add-on, as well as the Enterprise Live Add-on.
What is the Enterprise Live Add-on?
This add-on lets you bring enhanced peer-to-peer technology to live videos. You’ll be able to stream to large audiences while reducing the impact on your network.
What is the Enhanced Admin and Support Add-on?
This add-on offers additional features for organizations with more sophisticated admin and support needs, such as priority customer support and more sign-on options.
What is the Frontline feature?
The Frontline feature lets admins assign people in the organization as ‘frontline workers’, making it easier to manage how frontline employees access Workplace. Admins can add a custom message and terms to appear whenever frontline workers use Workplace (for example, ‘You won't be paid overtime for using Workplace outside office hours’), and admins can also disable group creation for frontline workers.
Workplace offers specialized plans for the Frontline feature which is available with the Workplace Core Plan. The Core Plan also lets admins decide whether to allow frontline workers to have Workplace access on both mobile and web, or on mobile only. Can I sign up for the Frontline feature only?
No. The Frontline feature can only be used as part of the Workplace Core Plan. Frontline is not an add-on.
Where can I use the plans?
The Workplace Core Plan can be used on the web, on iOS and Android mobile apps, and via a mobile web browser. As part of the Workplace Core Plan, the Frontline feature is only available on iOS and Android mobile apps, and via a mobile web browser only.
Can I cancel my Workplace plan any time?
Workplace has a subscription-based model so you can cancel your account at any time by contacting our support team. You'll need to notify us of the cancellation 30 days in advance.
