Family Promise of Greater Orlando's involvement is respectful and positive and builds on each family’s strengths and experiences. The goal of our case management team is to nurture the family back to self-sufficiency.

What You Can Expect:

Notice: Family Promise of Greater Orlando currently does not have funding available to assist homeless families with children temporarily residing or staying with friends/family. The US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) definition for homeless is: Families must be homeless either in 1) emergency facility, 2) hotels paid by charitable organization, or 3) living on the streets and maximum income of 30% AMI. How We Can Help:

RAPID RE-HOUSING
Work with homeless families to obtain affordable, permanent housing within 30-60 days. For the next 6 to 12 months, families participate in intensive case management and complete an individualized plan of action to reach their goals.

Serving residents of Seminole County.

PREVENTION PROGRAM
Assist families with school-aged children residing in Orange County who have received a three-day eviction notice to remain in current housing.
A grant-funded program by Orange County Government in response to impacts of Covid-19.

PERMANENT SUPPORTIVE HOUSING
Five homes in Seminole County available to provide long-term affordable housing for chronically homeless children and their adult caregiver(s) with a diagnosed disability.

COMMUNITY COORDINATED ENTRY SYSTEM

Family Promise of Greater Orlando staff is also available to register families with the Central Florida community's centralized data system, which makes their needs known to all service providers in our area. The goal is to assist families in identifying currently available resources that best meet their needs.
